Everton are no better than us, there I've said it.

You could say that of a dozen teams, which is the most frustrating aspect of the season.

As is evidenced by the ridiculous fact that Smethwick playing that brand of football are now above us.

Until we start scoring we are at risk.

That's the thing about Pullis. When you appoint him you abandon all your principles and sacrifice any chance of proper success in return for a guarantee of finishing fourteenth, based around going to places like Everton and touching the ball a dozen times in a 0-0 draw.

Smethwick aren't going down this season. That's all that matters to Peace.

Abandoned principles?
Sacrificing proper success?
Finishing fourteenth?

I do like his use of the word 'smashing' though, you don't hear that enough in modern football.

Who does that remind me of? All except the finishing fourteenth bit...

"Hutton avoided a red there, in spite of smashing Shane Long into row Z" would've been an excellent use of the term!

If the Bluescouse are booing, they are more than welcome to swap managers with us. Then they would have something to bitch about.

If they do they'll still be above us come May.
