Bolaise scores a fine equaliser for Congo

How can that be when everybody and their uncles are forever telling me he is shit? You must have got it wrong Mr. Aftab. Must have been somebody else.

OK he was under lot of pressure and it wasn't an open goal but other than that he was shit and has coloured his beard white and it looks shit!

Just caught the West Ham highlights. It kills me to see what Allardyce has helped them become especially at home and what we are. Fuck me

It's called having a credible football philosophy and having a decent coaching team. We have neither and we're heading for the trapdoor as a result.
The lack of action from the board is nothing short of mindblowing.

I wonder what Lerner has been doing today ? I wonder if he has even thought about "his club" 4,000 miles away.

Basic football, not rocket science.

West Ham & Villa both have a big centre forward. West Ham use a winger to supply him to score goals. We use full backs.

The sad thing is, he has gone to all this possession bollocks. He would be better off just getting his players to hoof it Wimbledon style. He will get a better result going route one rather than letting Cleverley touch the ball.

(I didn't ever thing I would say play route one football) such is our woe.

West Ham signed really well in the summer, that's the crux of it. Jenkinson and Cresswell both done well at full back (no doubt both would look rubbish under Lambert), Kouyate and Song both been excellent in midfield and they've rotated Carroll, Sakho and Valencia well who've all chipped in with goals.

As we've signed before it dosen't take a huge amount to get you up from 15th to about 8th which is what esentially West Ham will do in one year.

Currant news

I saw that on SKY earlier and thought to myself I wish I knew how to link/post something like that onto H&V. I then thought it's OK PWS will probably do it.

Almafritano has been a good signing too , on a free or loan IIRC.

I think having a distinct way of playing helps. He has a big centre forward and wingers to supply him. Wingers have a purpose, beat the full back where possible, get good crosses in as much as possible. We have a great centre forward and two full backs who are decent in their proper role and with our LB utterly shit at assisting in attack. That seems to be our strategy and it doesn't work. Is it any wonder we don't score? Like ever.

Watching Juve v Hellas. I think we should go for Pogba and offer Vlaar, Baker, Lowton, N'Zogbia, Agbonlahor, Weimann, Tonev and Lambert in a swap deal?

Looking back, Allardyce has improved every club he has spent any time at.  Bolton, Blackburn (not sure who was before that) plummeted after he left.  West Ham are currently above their usual position.  Newcastle are the exception, but I don't think he was there long enough to change the club.

Now they know how we felt a few years back in that 5-0 loss.

People think Allardyce is a neanderthal long ball merchant but he was one of the first to embrace sports science and Prozone. Before Bolton he took Notts County to a League Two title. Newcastle should have stuck with him. When Ashley took over he got rid although Allardyce  was only half a season into the job, the same as MON at Villa and Newcastle were above Villa at the time. Blton, Newcastle and Blackburn all went down after he left them/was sacked.
