Has anyone mentioned that Southampton are 3rd in the premier league yet?
No, hadn't realised that, nor that Ipswich had won the cup!

Mick McCarthy is one of my guilty secret managers,
I've always liked him even when he was at Wolves (can I say that yet)

Me too.

Ipswich are pretty mediocre though and would on this evidence fare as well as his Wolves and Sunderland teams in the premier league.

First time I've seen this Mings guy though, looks decent. Gets forward quick from left back like Bale did so could be worth the hype.

I know what you mean I like Mick too, he's great, however as our own manager not so sure!

Pfft, he didn't even top-score in our works match down at Twerton Park a couple of years ago when he was working for our company and playing part-time for Chippenham Town.

Very nice guy though.

Loved the 5Live comment of the Bradford match just after half-time with Millwall 4-0 down
"the Millwall supporters are leaving in their droves..."

Wonder where they were going?

Thanks. I always dimly thought they looked a bit tasty to be FT OB officers .
