QPR's Richard Dunne exchanged angry words with a section of his own side's fans after the 2-1 defeat by Burnley.

The incident took place when defender Dunne, 35, and his team-mates went over to applaud the away end at Turf Moor, but boss Harry Redknapp denied any other players were involved.

"I think it was only Dunney," explained Redknapp. "Somebody said something to him.

"He is a great lad but he got the hump. He did not go over to have a row."

Redknapp added that QPR's goalkeeping coach Kevin Hitchcock had led Dunne away from the incident.
