Bullard has achieved the impossible: he's made Savage look like a restrained, classy dresser.
He looks like the head of a satanic cult from a 1970s Hammer House of. Horrors...... And sounds like one too

Coquelin just booked for a challenge very similar to Delph's, started high and came down late and caught the guy on the foot, unsurprisingly it was only a yellow.

A routine win for the home side in a souless hole with no atmosphere. Entirely predictable and a baffling choice for TV.

It's what the FA Cup is all about.

I'm struggling to think of a less interesting tie they could have chosen. Bizarre decision.

At least there was some chance of a lower league club beating a top flight club which is what makes the FA Cup interesting. Arsenal v Hull offers nothing like that. and we knew before hand it wouldn't even have been either side's strongest 11.

How often is the cup final replayed as early as the third round?

Predictable certainly, because its not that baffling a choice.

BBC (like Sky) will show Chelsea Man City Arse Liverpool as often as they can.
Arse had the all premiership tie so that's the one they picked for TV.

I think it's something like thirty ties in a row that Manchester United have been live on TV.

After the FA Cup taking over the BBC's normal programming for most of the weekend, it was very odd to pick an all premiership tie and also that Five Live had hardly any coverage of the games... I guess it's better than the ongoing St£vie M£ obituary on Sky.

I did miss them from my post, I do try not to think about them...

The broad point is TV will show games involving the biggest teams as often as they can.

Alright then, contradictory. To bang on about the "magic of the cup" then select a tie that has none, even if it is a repeat of the final, is infuriating.
