This is nothing about being scared off the pitch. It's the embarrassment that would unfold on it.
I suspect it would be like another enckleman night the way we are currently playing.

They're a division below us. We might not be great but we're mid-table. We're better than them.

Yeah and we were better than Bradford, Orient, Millwall, Sheff United as well (sure I've missed one).

That doesn't alter the fact that "the way we are currently playing" doesn't tally with a three goal defeat to a Championship side.

Fully agree. On paper.
However as you know in derby and to a degree cup games the form book goes out the window .
Cough, Bradford

As I explained above, you referred not to history, but to the way we are currently playing, which while it might be horrible to watch does not lend itself to 3-0 defeats by anyone, least of all mid-table Championship teams.

Why? We can't score and of late we are always beaten by lower league opposition . Ok perhaps not 0-3 but I suggested a wretched loss rather than specific 0-3.

Non-existent. We haven't played a cup game since August.

although, in the Bradford season - and yes, I too thought that second leg was one of the most embarassingly poor pieces of football management I've ever seen - we also won away at Manchester City in that run, it is worth remembering.

How can games from two years ago be called current?

Berahino's non celebrations for Albion - what is his problem?
