Depressing seeing all the goals scored today and us failing to score in last three games (again).

Kane looks a great player.

he really is. I dream of kids coming out of our academy like that. He's got his chance and he is having an amazing season.
Seems a long time ago that the clamor for him to play was treated as a bit of a joke.

Last time I remember a striker dominating Gary Cahill like that was John Carew against Bolton.

He's only started 10 league games but he's been involved in more league goals (7 goals 5 assists) than our entire team.

He works hard and looks like he's got it all, first young English player in a long time I've been genuinely really impressed with.

I will watch MOTD to see Chelsea lose but will turn off long before our game is on.

I disagree with regard Kane, he's on a confidence streak at the moment, no doubt, but. I don't see a world class player there. A classic case of being overhyped by the cockney press.

Agree. He is this years Andros Townsend. Who was last years Jack Wilshire.

The fact he's not world class isn't really much of a criticism, though, surely?

He's doing very well for them.

Which is annoying as he has one of the most punchable faces in football at the moment.

My point was that I don't see him having it in him to become world class and that the hype about him currently is OTT. File under Ravel Morrison.

i get that, and maybe it is a bit OTT, I'm just saying that it is possible for him to become a very good player without getting anywhere near world class.

I've thought all season Kane is overrated given he's scored a lot of his goals in the europa league and Carling cup like the Fonz used to do.

He was the business tonight as were Spurs generally (and I think they've been very lucky to win most of their games this season).

Let's see if it lasts as football is littered with these forwards who come from nowhere and then disappear when the going gets tough in the second season.

The only thing about Chelsea shipping 5 goals is that it was Spurs who scored them. Fuck off, Spurs, with your 600 midfielders, all of them with a wanky hipster side-parting haircut.

Who has described him as 'world class'? He looks a really good player and I'm sure if people took their Geordie patented Cockney mafia glasses off they would see it, Chelsea couldn't handle him today.

After watching another player, Jelavic this time, not celebrating a goal I have growing respect for Adebayor's gig at Eastlands against Arsenal.
FFS celebrate your goals as the Club and fans who are now paying your wages expect it!
