Is Cahill not playing because he is banned in some sort of justice?

No just being rested I think

Sod Derby v Chelsea, I've just switched on  Valencia-Rayo five minutes ago, was 2-4, now 4-4.

One shot on target against a lower league side. Lambert out!

Wait, wrong team.

Barcelona are 5-0 up at half time in the second leg of the Copa del Rey. 9-0 on aggregate, they haven't got Messi tonight but think they'll scrape through.

Wonderful achievement by the Socialist club that refuse to consider sharing television revenue with the rest of their league to see off a lower division club.

Sorry. I just find Chris' obsession with a club that wins every week to be a bit Man Uish. One difference is that the Premier League has at least a vague hint of meritocracy. If Hull won the league this year, they'd get more prize money than Chelsea. If Rayo Vallecano win the league for the next two decades, they'll still get less telly money than Real or Barca, due to the way they are allowed to negotiate their own TV deals. I find it odd that someone could be surprised that Barcelona are quite good considering the financial advantages they enjoy.

Tutored 5 Spanish lads (11/12/13 years old) last year - all of them from different areas of Spain.
They all "supported" Barcelona.

My what? Just reporting the score in the 'other games' thread as reported to me by my son, you do realise I wasn't being entirely serious?

Yeah of course. But you have gone on about Barcelona a fair bit before. I seem to remember you mentioning how much your son enjoyed watching them compared to Villa, as if somehow we should be ashamed for not being as good as Barcelona. Again, a bit Man Uish.
