I agree.  If Vertonghen punched the ref to the floor, farted on him and slagged off his wife he'd probably only get a yellow.  I hope things really do "even themselves out" over the season for once; if there is any justice in the world Vertonghen will be sent off completely unfairly in the last minute of the FA Cup Final for a handball on the line when a shot actually hit him very very hard in the testicles, leaving Christian Benteke to smash home the penalty and add to Ryan Mason's embarrassing first half own goal to bring the Cup back to Villa Park.
