the new stadium plans don't look so tasty now playing Europa League football or worse year after year. It's a nightmare trying to break into the top 4, and it will even harder getting back into it given the investments they made and are now tied to. All of those players have lost value and the likes of Suarez or Bale as Spurs are finding out come around once in a lifetime.

So Loverpool are unlucky having won 1 game in 6. Last season Napoli didn't qualify having won 4 of 6. Now that's unlucky.

They've signed players who aren't top 4 quality. Lallana is probably the pick of their signings and ridiculously overpriced. I don't think he's top 4 quality though.
Balotelli is just far too inconsistent.
