People were banging on about Van Gaal and his 'genius' substitution of the goalkeeper at the world cup.  It looks to me tonight as if he doesn't have a clue what he's doing and is making absurd tactical decisions.  Whether it pays off or not will certainly be down to luck more than judgement, they've been second best by a distance.

He'd be a bargain at that price and would solve their injury problems.
