I thought we were the only regular PL team where Mourinho had never won at but Stelling has just said that Noocassil also hold that distinction. Say it ain't so..

I want Newcastle to hold on to this lead.  Three reasons. 1. It will be good for the title race.  2. Chelsea/Jose will be too smug if they go the whole season unbeaten.  And 3. Because I called the Newcastle win today and so I can be smug!

And now it is over!

Brilliant tackle in midfield to set that up. You wonder why Newcastle are not consistently higher up with this squad and their ability to find players at generally good prices, especially in France.

If we win tomorrow we're back in the title race.

Pardew seems to do this every season and then by the end it has fallen apart and he is on the edge of being fired again. They have such a talented squad up there.

I don't think their squad is that good though.  They are roughly a mid-table team who tread a fine line between having a run at the top seven or six, and getting sucked into the drop zone scrap depending on certain factors.  That is why I maintain that Pardew has done a pretty good job overall and doesn't deserve the stick he has got.

Yep called this one!  Just thought Chelsea would lose their record against a slightly lesser team away from home, and that Newcastle are looking strong right now.  Great day for the young keeper too!

It's shameful the way Newcastle are celebrating this win. You would think they have won the treble!
