Glad I'm not watching!
Tuned in to "Missing" on BBC 1...it's good.

Keep me updated on the score, please.

City have too many Arsenal duds that never did particularly well in the chumps league in their squad. Why would it be any different for them?
Because the other players that they didn't buy from Arsenal might be better than their Arsenal equivalents?

I preferred what you said first it made more sense ;)

Meanwhile Chelsea put five past a decent German side and qualify with a game to spare.

Say that in a Martin Tyler voice it's slightly easier to take in

Thank goodness we had Tyldesley to tell us the endless permutations of what Citeh would need to get to the knockout stages. I never knew that a win was better than a draw.

Me too. The last three random strangers i've spoke to all reside in Birmingham and all support manure. I told them all they were glory's and they all gave me that fake little laugh type smile after.

City lording it over them in their own back yard

I was pretty pissed off for about a week when they won the cup. Where I used to work we had four noses stinking out the place giving me shit. Same for the Chelsea horror show.

And he got it bloody wrong too. He must have said a hundred times that a win or draw didn't matter, only then to change his mind completely towards the end of the game.

Mixed feelings. I'd love us to experience this sort of success obviously. But I'd also hate looking at Villa fans and wondering whether they are a johnny come lately. One of the joys of meeting fellow Villains down the years is that thought never crosses your mind for a second. I'd be an easy target too for people thinking the same, despite following Villa 'man and boy' for 40 years and being at every big game in that time - middle class, don't live in Birmingham, no brummie accent etc....

Liverpool 1 - 0 down after 2 minutes, dodgy goalkeeping again from Mingolet
