  The tragedy of Hillsborough wasn't caused by fans standing Mr Green, which you'd know if you had read/listened to any of the reports regarding it. They were very public, very loud and very clear.

  Mr Green was asked to examine the safe standing roadshow at Villa Park. He said "I was at Hillsborough" and walked away ignoring everything else.

  I went to there new stadium at the end of last season for the first time, they were just about to be crowned champions we lost 4 nill
  It's probably the most soulless of all the new stadiums I've visited,
  even worse than Arsenal
  The atmosphere wasn't bad, it just didn't feel real, I can't explain it, but as daft as this sounds I wasn't jealous

  Couldn't agree more. Everything about it - even the weather, the massively expensive snacks and beer, and the unpleasant, arrogant stewards/police (+ result!) made it an experience I don't want to repeat. But probably will!

• I sound like a crotchety old sod here, but it makes me really mad when I see people wearing Man City gear when I'm out and about. The person in question may have had a season ticket for years or followed them through the leagues and back, but I will automatically assume they're a glory hunter.
