Just watched Hearts beat Rangers, don't normally watch Scottish football but all I can say is this.

Hearts, that's of Div 1 - our Championship, League 1? They played quick, incisive passing football. They never stopped moving, chasing - and with Rangers having ten men, they battered them, without hardly a single hoofed ball forward.

Quite an eye opener considering the years of garbage we've been served up for years in the "Premiere League".

Of the ten minutes or so that I watched, which was before the sending off, Rangers made hard work of not scoring.

Currently cheering on Eibar against Franco's Fascists FC. What's not to love? They're Basque, their ground has a capacity of 5,250 and they wear claret and blue!

It looks very tight at the bottom right now. From 13th down there's not too much between the sides really. I'm surprised Burnley have won two on the spin. I'm undecided whether that's good for us or bad.
But in all honest from West Brom downward, we're all absolute fucking garbage. Looking up the table, Newcastle, West Ham and Stoke are all sitting pretty but I don't think you can quite yet discount them from slipping back in. Ultimately Spurs, Liverpool etc will probably climb again and the top 8 will probably the same sides as last year in a marginally different order.

I don't bloody like it and I hate being part of it, but it's almost certainly going to be tight this year and pretty interesting. I think it'll go closer than last year, where as the bottom 3 got cut adrift with plenty to spare. Burnley and Palace might get left a little behind, but even then, given how shite a lot of the teams just above them are, I'm not so sure. We might see a lot of desperate purchasing by our rivals in Jan.

Burnley will hopefully be overly confident when they play us next weekend.

Too many choices. I see FFFC are 1-0 up. I have opted for the domestic clash between 4/5th contenders but really want to see manure humiliated.

How Man U are not at least 2 goals down is amazing. They are being torn a new one by Arsenal who are playing at a level we have been on the receiving end of. Super stuff.

Same here after FF FC's offside goal. One of the advantages of living abroad is that we get NBC's coverage of the 5.30 game for free. As a side note Gremio V Internacional a couple of weeks ago was a bit tasty. Aiming to make it home for the Liverpool game in Jan. so hopefully see you then!

Don't worry, we'll be okay. I'm not religious but I do have faith in the church of B6!  ;)

That was a pretty dreadful miss by Wilshere when straight in on goal, almost as feeble as whatever it was he was trying to do to Fellani a short while later.
