Not at all impressive, sad to report. When Lukaku scored on 73 minutes converting a cross from the right wing at the far post, Benteke was not even in the box. Substituted a couple of minutes later.

Teams like Gibraltar have got to start somewhere.

Start? That suggests that they'll improve over time which they won't. Or if they do they might improve to 0-5 instead of 0-7. Pointless game.

Is there a wider plan with Gibraltar I wonder where British players who will never play for England , Scotland etc let's use Alex Bruce as an example could perhaps qualify somehow to play for Gib?
