Not as funny as Sutton, but still amusing.

Annoyed at that Stoke result, shows how Spurs are there for the taking at the moment. We should have shown a bit more endeavour against them when one up last week, there wasn't anything to be scared of.

Thanks to "Worcester City's teenage striker Sean Geddes," according to the BBC. He's actually a 22 year old midfielder, but never mind.

another team expected to go screaming backwards since losing their manager yet like Southampton are finding ways to improve. Kills me to see how meekly we approach games and a ready made excuse at the end that the opposition is better than us so losing 3-0 is acceptable.

No way Villa would've comeback and beaten Arsenal from a goal down. Fair play to the Swans - Montero looks a great winger - the sort of form N'Zogbia showed for Wigan - but not for Villa.

Too right. Whilst we realise we can't be Chelski/City/Arsenal/Liverpool etc why can't we be Southampton/Swansea? It's just too painful being us at the moment.

Credit Gary Monk, 1 down not a massive amount of time left he makes a sub who comes on and massively influences the equaliser, then rather than sit back and take a point he swaps Bony for another centre forward with fresh legs and boom first touch 2-1
Full admiration for Swansea.

The thing about Southampton and Swansea is that they are really benefitting from taking time to build up a real identity, style of play, strong youth system and then have managed transition very well by continuing to recruit managers with a similar philosophy.

You can't say much of that about villa

If it's any consolation, I expect that when Lambert goes we will look to recruit a manager with a similar philosophy.
