Palace looked rubbish against the Albion and even worse last night. Warnock is doing a great job.

That pocket of palace fans down in the corner are class.

Who? The flag waving bunch?

I just think that they're annoying. Put down the flags and concentrate on the game.

I have to disagree Redsox. I was at Palace away last season, and in the North Stand for the home game on Boxing Day, and they have the noisiest fans in the premier league at the moment for me.

There's nothing wrong with being noisy. However, I don't see the point of going to a sporting event and spending your time waving flags around

Warnock is moaning that his players are too honest and should develop a nasty streak. I have to say I agree with him regards the Villa. We need to go down more often and perhaps if CB had done that Sunday we'd have 3 more point. Acting like a man means you get punished by incompetent refs.

How was pushing Mason in the face anymore manly than just ignoring him and letting the referee deal with it?

Pushing someones face away from you when they are doing what Mason did is, i think a natural reaction, to create your personal space. If he'd acted like a snide (like Mason) he would have rolled around on the floor then appealled to the ref for a headbutt.
Don't get me wrong, I hate it when players do that, but until such time that refs are making correct decisions we need to milk the system like everyone else.
You saw what happened when it was left to the ref to deal with, right?

I would like to think I would have been able to walk away, but fear I may have spent the rest of the evening picking Mason's teeth out of my hand.

Another way to "create personal space" is to just walk away from the situation and leave the little no-mark chasing after him. We'll never know how the referee would have dealt with it had Benteke just been sensible and done that, but we can be pretty certain that he wouldn't have been sent off for it.

Granted, it's easier said than done - but he's paid a lot of money not to lose his temper when he's being provoked.

Can get 14/1 on Liverpool tonight, wondering if that's worth a silly few quid.

Quite pathetic from Rodgers. Gives him a ready made excuse when they are pulverised

It's not like they've got a winnable game at the weekend either .
