Defences well on top in the CL. 8 games, 40 goals.

Hazzard has feet like Iniesta. I can pay him no higher compliment. Just a shame he plays for Chelsea.

I had Crawley, Oldham, Port Vale, Charlton and Bournemouth to win for a cheeky little fivefold. Port Vale let me down.  I had Brentford and Sheffield Wednesday to draw, which they did along with wins for Blackburn, Cardiff, Norwich and Wolves for a very nice fivefold. Norwich drew. I was tempted to have a Basil Fawlty style meltdown but I have settled for just having a big sulk.

It would be nice if the Dogheads could stop winning now. Last thing we need is another load of chancers going on about how they're going to win the Pride of the Midlands trophy next season.

Don't mind Wolves coming up. Costs about three quid to get there and we always win. Far rather them than some horrible London/Northern club needing two-three changes of transport and who actually try to beat us.

Neither is the new stadium that started the gift that keeps on giving thread. I'm sure Sky said 12,000 were there tonight. Which means opposition fans are even less inclined to pay to watch them then their own. Still, David Moyes in charge by Saturday and bigger than the Villa in five years. I'm sure those targets will be met. As for updates on their new stadium, are we deliberately ignoring it on the Birmingham news thread or has it gone a bit quiet?

We're ignoring it in the hope that it might go away. Deep down though, we know it's just a matter of time until they build it and become bigger than us.

There was a cracker on the subtitles on Sky Sports News last night :- "At the DW Stadium it finished goalless between Wicker Man and Milwall."

I wasn't suggesting he is a better player than Iniesta - he isn't.  Simply that he has the same sort of soft feet where the ball is stuck to his boot as if he has velcro on boot and ball and can run at pace with it under control.

I rank Iniesta as just a gnat's chuff below Messi and Ronaldo.

I love watching Iniesta, he doesn't ever appear to run, he glides.
