That's unbelievable. Daylight robbery.
QPR wasted that last freekick. Should have sent Dunne and Caulker up. That was a bad, bad call and they've paid for it.

Yes they were robbed. The problem is it was a great spirited performance that is bound to give them confidence for their next game.....

They just need a bit of a tonic - who do they play next...

When you need a "pick me upper" or the need to break a record call your favourite club from B6.

watching Swansea here, if we could even aim to be a Swansea playing decent football, that would suffice for the most of us. We seem light years away from playing a style of football that they put together year on year regardless of who their manager is.

Same point about Southampton. I don't think either team ever had an historical culture for playing that way but they have both created one and are maintaining it despite managerial changes. It shows that it can be done.

The ref made a very brave decision to award Swansea a pen. For once the dirty git Shawcross got punished for wrestling with forwards just as they are about to take a corner etc. however he messed up big time in awarding Stoke a penalty when in fact he should have booked Moses.

It's almost the worst way it could have worked out. A heartening performance. Desperately unlucky with two of the goals. Could have been 2-3 up in the first half.
A point or 3 might have seen QPR slip off the gas a little with us. But now they're absolutely desperate for 3 points and I'm sure will be looking to come out quickly next week.
They'll be well up for it, so we'd better raise our game, and most importantly, not sit back and invite pressure.

I'm as optimistic as they come but I know at the moment it does not matter who we play, when we play, who is playing for us I just have no idea how the team we put out is going to perform.
Under Lambert our squad so often lacks confidence but when confidence is high we can play very well. It also rubs off on me at the moment I wonder when the next goal is going to come from let alone win. I do know at some point it will turn again though. My main worry though is how long for? Ideally we need a very good run of form and start bagging points sooner rather than later.
Strange times being a Villa fan.
