Redknapp has put out one hell of a negative side. He makes Lambert look gung ho.

Every team now seems to be intensely targeting Gerrard and it's giving them joy. Stevie Me had the freedom of the pitch last season and he's not getting it now and Liverpool look very ordinary because of it. In part not having to worry about Suarez and Sturridge means they can put 1-2 on Gerrard, disrupt him and stop Liverpool getting any momentum.
QPR have done okay so far, even if they lack any pace and guile in the final third.

Fer just missed an absolute sitter. Should be 1-0. Surprising burst of pace from Bobby Zamora to get down the wing and create the chance.

On the basis of this weekend, next weeks game looks very much in QPR's favour.

Taking Gerrard out the game completely shuts them down.

Wish we were playing 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' rather than QPR next week. The latter look really up for it

Not so Super Mario looks like he would rather be elsewhere. I bet his team mates are mightily hacked off with him.

Why did they sign him given his previous?

I think that's the mark of a side where a manager knows he needs a win to keep his job. Redknapp's on very thin ice, so to be fair to him he's sent them out with exactly the right mentality and some astuteness in shutting off Gerrard. They're not sitting back either, they're attacking.

The problem with Lambo is, he's about as safe a manager as there is in the English game right now. Where's his pressure. When's he gonna have a game where he really has to fire the side up and unleash them looking to attack, dominate and win a game? Right now he's sending his side out to lose by 2-3 rather than 4-5. It's fucking pathetic.
Sometimes a manager is best when they're on hot coals. Pardew has had a few results since looking like dead man walking. Lambert has no pressure at all.

If Rangers keep up this performance, even if they don't get the result, they're gonna fancy that repeating this performance will get them a result against us.

I hope QPR don't play like this against us next week.

Probably best for us if they do. We need QPR down in the doldrums .
