If Wilshire played for Villa, he'd be nowhere near this England squad. In fact, I couldn't see him getting a game ahead of Delph, Westwood or Cleverley. Dreadful player. No pace, can't tackle and constantly giving the ball away.

Agreed. He seems to be a favourite with Woy and the media but I don't see why.

Yes I wondered about the sleeve things as well. He's probably being paid a fortune for wearing what appears to be a totally unnecessary addition to his kit.

I don't think he's the right choice for captain either.

Personally I think this is the sort of game where someone like Darren Beckford would get a hatful of goals.
