If Pardew is sacked, that'll make Lambert what, fourth longest serving manager in the league?

From the BBC text report:

Quote
67 mins - And that's why Stephen Ireland is not starting league games for Stoke! The former Manchester City player spoons a glorious chance over the bar from 15 yards following another delightful move started stated by the impressive Victor Moses.

Still can't quite believe someone took him.

Bugger was just about to post that.

Won't he be 4th behind Pearson?

Great minds and all that...or being reduced to watching the BBC text coverage as the only way of following what's going on...

Obertan has offered them something, but in the main they have been very poor.

I'd forgotten him.

Fifth - Wenger, Pearson, Allardyce, Rodgers then Lambert.

I'll win (or lose) £50 if any of the premier league managers who started the season in 12-13 are in post at the end of 16-17. There aren't many left. I can't see Pards making it. I reckon wenger might. And possibly lambert, somewhat against the odds

Seems like a logical move, in some respects.

But Moyes had full control over transfers at Everton, I don't think he'd give that up to take a job like the Newcastle one.

If you were looking to rebuild your career after the Manure disaster, working for Mike Ashley would be low down on the list. Well it would be for me.

Suppose it's all bolluxtalk etc, but if I was Moyes (still counting the notes from my ManUre pay off) wouldn't touch it with the proverbial...

The Tottenham of the North will want a "name''.  That counts against Pullis.

Moyes would be a good fit for them, like he would have been for us..

I think Moyes will hold out for the spurs job.
