I thought the H&V definition of ABC was when we got a visit from Another Bluenose ........

Di Maria has looked good. Not 60 million quid good granted, but good. A bit of class in their midfield that's at least close to what they lost when Ronaldo buggered off. Which is slightly worrying.

I think Redknapp will be gone by November, so much depends on who replaces him and what they can get out of a squad which on paper (or should that be Pro Evo 2009 team line up) is better than they've showed so far.
I'd still think they've got just about enough to finish above the Tesco's. Just about.

They've just had an interview with Marc Reiper who played for him at West Ham.

Very eager to please the players.
"Why aren't I getting game a boss?"
"Don't worry your starting next week."

Training 45 minutes 5 a side each day.
If you wanted to work on your own skills, well that was up to you.  "Training was more organised and serious at Brøndby" The club he left to go to West Ham.  At the time the Danish league would have been not much more than conference standard, and not all players would have been full-time.

Tactical preparation - 11 names read out in the dressing room.  442 taken as read .  "Right get out there and stick it to 'em"

He must have evolved a bit since then, but even then it would seem that he was a comparative dinosaur

Such a routine win for Man United. Even their "supporters" in the pub I watched it in celebrated each goal as it came with muted cheers as if each goal, even the first, was an inevitability. Compared to me last night going bonkers jumping around my lounge when Gabby scored.

As arrogant as they are I think they know that at best they are third favourites for the league. I think they would do an Arsene Wenger and be happy with third place this year.
