Serie A salaries for the season all announced.

Paul Pogba earning the equivalent of £23,000 per week, Micah Richards getting £26,000 per week.

We've got reserves earning three times as much as one of the best midfielders in the world.

Who were the top paid players out of interest?

Depends when Pogba signed that contract. If it is the contract he signed a few years ago then it's not a surprise he's not on much as he wasn't a star player then.

Mental salaries being paid by the 20 clubs here plus Real, Barca, Bayern and PSG whilst the rest try to live in some sort of real world not that £23K a week is exactly poor.

We need to relocate to Italy and we'd be able to spend our way to the title. And the weather would be nice.

Former Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has paid for Denmark to send a team to the Homeless World Cup in Chile.

Agger, who left Liverpool last month to return to his old club Brondby, covered a £2,100 shortfall in funding after being approached by organisers, allowing the squad to make the journey.

Frits Ahlstrom, of the charity Ombold, told Danish channel TV2: “I talked to him and said we still had to find 20,000 krone, and he said without hesitating: ‘I’ll give it to you.’ There is no substitute for class and Daniel has it on and off the field, as a player and as a person.”

The Homeless World Cup, which began in 2003, is held annually, and was last hosted in Poland, where Brazil were the winners.

In August PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic donated £30,000 to send a Swedish team with learning difficulties to the INAS World Football Championship in Brazil.

The Swedish team’s manager, Stefan Jonsson, told Aftonbladet: “I spoke to Zlatan and asked if he could donate a shirt for auction and he said: ‘What the hell are you going to do with a shirt? How much is it to go?’ When we said what we needed, he asked for the account number and he deposited it.”

Class by both players. Sometimes I hate football but when I hear about players giving something back (however small to the salaries they earn), it makes me feel good about the game again. Well done Agger & Zlatan.

And the food will be much better but we might struggle for a good balti.

The idea of a Homeless World Cup does sound a little strange.

Interesting news about Lampard starting the early kick off and no Toure.  I guess that is why you have a squad.  Fancy Arsenal to get a result there.   Welbeck should be a good signing for them.  Just don't get why they leave Flamini on the bench so ofter, he can be important in these big games.

I think even Arsenal fans are starting to see through the hype surrounding Wilshere. And Ozil is non too popular down there either...
