What has to be taken into account is how shit Norway are. Only games they've won in over a year are at home to Cyprus and Moldova, and yet we're lucky to still be level.

Nothing of any significance will change with the national team until we make significant changes right from the way we coach children upwards.

Changing manager or blooding new players might make the slight difference here or there, but it is really like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

In a way, we'd probably start to see this and act on it a bit sooner if we were to go on a run of hideous performances, involving losing to crud like Norway.
