Very true.  I was talking to a Chelsea fan a while back who refused to acknowledge that both us and Forest had won the European Cup, and described us as "a little tiddler of a club"

I've had a similar conversation with a Chelsea fan. There was just incomprehension on his face when I told him Forest had won the European Cup twice as many times as they had. He went straight for his phone to prove me wrong but the look of shock a few seconds later was priceless.

Not wishing to prolong this  "present day footy fan WTF" tales I was with a Chelsea fan at VP last season and after the match he said if things don't improve he will return to supporting his former Club..... Liverpool. I looked at him in astonishment as he is in his late thirties fully expecting a wink or something but NO none of that he was serious. I found that quite shocking from a grown man but he is born and bred Basildon!
