Re Man Utd v Real Madrid, I heard someone on the radio saying how great it was to see a soccer match between two great brands.

There's no excuse for that even if it may have been an American saying it.

Is the Celtic game on any of the digital channels tonight? I can't be bothered trying to watch it online but if it is on telly like BBC Scot or Alba I will have a look. It doesn't look like it is though.

Of course, pre season is purely about fitness so there can be no clues as to stoke's form, shape, style of play etc . . .

2-1 MLS -Donovan. Neuer on for the goal. Here come Muller, Goetze and Lahm.

Final score 2-1 MLS. Ended with Bayern coaches including Pep refusing to shake hands with the MLS coaches after a couple of meaty tackles.
