I have all my chicken flown in especially from Kentucky.

My two kids have a go at me for saying "Do you fancy a Kentucky?". Apparently it is KFC to the kids these days.

Let's not forget FL Fart, of Norway.

Norwegian minnows FL Fart have been left about £375,000 (4 million krone) after 91-year-old fan Erling Andreassen left his possessions - including his property - to his boyhood club.

That should be more than enough to buy Tonev and Baker and have a bit left over to pop into Gregg's on the way home for a couple of corned beef pasties.

Newcastle United fans clashed with West Ham supporters in Dusseldorf ahead of their 3-1 defeat against Spanish La Liga side Malaga.

Pockets of violence flared in the German city’s historic centre on Friday night leading to 21 fans of both clubs being arrested.

And aggression spilt over into today's game as riot police were called when dozens of West Ham supporters appeared to enter the NUFC area.

Not really any different to getting 80K at Wembley for an NFL game. Doesn't suddenly mean it has taken off here though.

Looks impressive though.

That Ashley Young fella at ManU looks a bit useful. I wonder if we'll ever see the likes of him at the Villa?

The Big House in Michigan is a superb stadium too. Watched a few Michigan college football games there over the years.

Newcastle and West Ham have had "needle" going back years. Well, I say that, what i mean is that I can remember it from years back.

I was in a boozer in central Newcastle before they played West Ham at home, in about 1986, and the place absolutely erupted - bricks coming through the windows, furniture everywhere, really very unpleasant. After it had happened, we were told that they'd had this animosity for ages.

By far the worst outbreak of football related aggro I've encountered, and it didn't even include my team

A lot of it stems from when petrol bombs were thrown at West Ham fans inside St James' by the loveable Geordies circa 1981.

Phew. I'm glad they didn't do that after football was invented. The lovable stereotype would have been shattered. Shearer would have been known as the centre-forward who made the worst decision possible, Bobby Robson would be remembered for having a media reputation far exceeding the managerial abilities he showed in this country, and the fact that they are just another version of  a Norwich, the Shit and albion et al who believe there post-92 hype.

Steven Naismith has bought tickets for Everton home games to donate to unemployed people across Liverpool.

The 27-year-old forward, who joined the Toffees from Rangers in 2012, said: 'I come from Ayrshire in the West of Scotland and spent a lot of my life in Glasgow - a city that, at times, has suffered from high unemployment.

'Liverpool has a similar history and I am aware that, through no fault of their own, there are many unemployed in Liverpool trying hard to find a job and may not be able to afford a ticket.

'I thought this might be a small gesture to help those in that situation to enjoy a day out at one of our league matches. Hopefully it can bring some joy to many people.

'I have asked the Jobcentreplus if they could give the tickets to different Jobcentres across the city each week and select people who are unemployed through no fault of their own, are trying hard to find employment and who would enjoy watching a Premier League football match.'

Naismith is no stranger to charity work and helps homeless centres in Liverpool and Glasgow.

He also launched a project in Glasgow to help injured service personnel back to mainstream employment and is an ambassador for Dyslexia Scotland.

The Scotland international said: 'Every day I feel very fortunate for the opportunities and lifestyle my job as a footballer has afforded my family and me and also to be in the position where I can help the community in some small way.'

Very generous by Naismith. He isn't the highest earning footballer by any stretch and it would be nice to think other players were doing similar as opposed to necking £20k bottles of champagne.

Then again, I'm not sure the unemployed would be as thrilled to receive tickets to our home games.

Kidding off course...

109,318.  I wonder if this soccer thing will ever take off in America?

Seeing all of the ManUre gloryhunters filling the grounds this summer makes me wonder how many go to see their local MLS club. Very few, I suspect. They probably have a wardrobe full of shirts for the top European clubs along with their Argentina, Spain and Brasil strips.

There were just over 12,000 in Philly ( a town with a huge Italian population)  to see Inter v Roma on Sunday:
