Not heard that tom ince has asked not to be considered for the u21s, like his dad then. A tit.

Do we have four defenders available for Saturday?

Going by that table maybe not. I assume Sanchez would go in at the center if needed and Bacuna out wide?
I wouldn't risk that I'd go

Bacuna.  Clark. Hutton. Lowton

Decent shout. Has Hutton played in the middle before? He certainly is a solid defender.

He started at centre-back for Scotland on Sunday, although Gibraltar did score their first ever goal in proper competition. Just saying like.... :-)

Nobody should play for the under-21's. A complete waste of time.

According to Physioroom Lowton's injured as well. A few defenders are due to be back by the weekend but I haven't heard anything about who's back in training, and there's  still plenty of time for Vlaar to pick up another calf injury between now and Saturday - probably while getting on the team bus.

We all know that "doubtful" can be translated as "definitely won't be playing" if it relates to Vlaar or "will almost certainly start and score" if it concerns an opposition player.

Vlaar was reported as being fit for the Man U game

Delph has started poorly tonight. I hope he doesn't play the full game
