Albrighton released?
« on: May 20, 2014, 11:31:05 PM »
Various twitter talk suggesting he has been released. Disgraceful if correct and says everything about our once mighty club.

Best player for us during the last third of the season

Step 1 - read over threads before starting your own topic

In fairness to Rudy, I'd say the news warrants its own thread rather than being bunged in with all the other transfer/takeover/manager/we'realldoomed threads.

I'll be sorry to see Marc go. If Leicester have offered him £35,000 a week though, as rumoured, you can perhaps understand Villa's thinking a bit. We can't afford to keep paying players who aren't big stars big stars' wages. That's how we got ourselves into the shit we find ourselves in.

He always tried his best, as did The Fonz who has also been released. Good luck to them both in the future (as I said, tediously, in some other thread).
