I can't really remember Stan being singled out for that much abuse. He got stick for under-performing, although I also remember there were a fair amount of fans saying that he played an unsung role in the Villa midfield.In any case, even if Stan was given dogs abuse (which he wasn't) that is completely exclusive to people not wanting him to die of cancer in his early 30's.
