Hopefully, hopefully, that's the last we'll see of Thickie Villa, the almighty dilapidated shithouse.

As a quiet observer for most of the season, I too am glad its finally over.

We can now look forward to announcements about ownership, management and playing staff and hope that our usual pre season optimism and dreams might just actual begin to materialise into actual entertaining football that delivers results.

Roll on those announcements....

I've long since been unable to afford to go to games and since the turn of the year I've not been able to afford plus1HD either.  I've not missed it.

It's not Randy's fault that Lambert turned out to be much worse than we thought and it's not Lambert's fault that he's pretty much been obliged to shop in the bargain basement and it's not the players' fault that they've been promoted beyond their ability.

But between them the owner, the manager and the players have, if not brought the club to its knees they've at least brought it slumped over the khazi cradling the bowl.

Change needed from top to bottom and it can't come soon enough.  No more pissing about with middling or worse managers, we need a top quality manager and the realisation that you cannot compete in the Premier League on a budget.

Please let this season be the nadir. The ownership and coaching set up needs to be sorted immediately. And please god come August may Lerner, Faulkner, Lambert and half the playing squad be nowhere near Villa Park.

Was that today's game or the season?

Birmingham City got 39 points when they were relegated in 2011.

We finished on 38 points this year.
