The saddest thing is I am looking forward to the summer with no worry on a Saturday. It's no fun any more.

'Villa are content at 3-0' I think that nicely sums up what an utter shambles and embarrassment we've become.

Lambert out. Lerner out. 95% of the squad out.

Truly abject and shocking display. If you thought the performance from TSM1 at Spurs was bad; this was worse.

The Tescos are losing so at least they will miss out on their open top bus parade for finishing above us.

Brutal, truly brutal. I have no idea how we mustered enough points to survive, we are a truly diabolical side.

I am begging the dear Lord McGrath to bring this to an end. By Tuesday if nothing else changes, please let it be that Lambert joins Karsa and Culverhouse as part of Villa's past.

Well, we've finished above Smethwick, so that caps off a truly successful season.  We know what we am, etc.

I couldn't care if almost every single one of them, players and management, are not there on 1st August

Otherwise, I'd suggest closing this thread due to lack of interest!

We finished above West Brom! We finished above West Brom! High ho the derry o we finished above West Brom! In all seriousness, I cant remember ever wanting a season to end as quickly as this one. We all know what needs to happen, at least we can now all enjoy the summer.

Thank God this miserable, dreadful shambles of a season is over. Completely fitting it was finished off with a miserable, dreadful shambles of a performance.

Good bye Mr Lambert and hopefully, a number of the squad. Fucking dreadful. Who would have thought that the season would end like this after the opening game? Thank you to all members for keeping me going during the numerous low times of this awful campaign. Good news regarding the club shall hopefully be imminent. Up the Villa!
