Spuds 4.1 Villa

Tony Galvin, Glen Hoddle (pen), Archibald 2
McMahon for us

Ironic that Dim Sherwood will be out of a job come middle of May whereas Lambert may well not be.

snigger...

I can't claim credit for that one. I am prepared to be appropriately magnaminous as someone with a quicker wit than I on this site used the term prior to me.

Before the Man City match, I thought "finally, a Villa match I can watch and not give a shit about the result, no need to get annoyed by whatever happens".

But then I still got annoyed.

Same. When Delph got booked for that perfectly decent challenge against City, my language was terrible. Even said after, why do I get so worked up about it still....?

With a load of us stood on the Shelf, Spurs fans around us talking about how good we were.

A strange end-of-season game. 2-2.

Hope he starts Robinson and Grealish. Why not.

When Ormondroyd put that in I swear there was a moments silence before it went utterly mental behind the goal, Ormo looked as shocked as the rest of us. What a night.

Me too, absolutely nothing to lose, and it'd raise the entertainment levels, something he's failed to do for most of the last nine months.

I'd give a couple of the other fringe/yoofs a go to. Give em a chance to play against a big club, see how they cope. And also in some cases, possibly a last chance for some of Lambo's signings to try and have an impact. Tonev, Helenius perhaps. If Gardner was fit I'd give him a go too. If not, Johnson.
There's no point bringing a half fit Gabby back, or Albrighton, who hopefully has already done enough to earn a new deal.

I'd also put Steer in to see how he does.

Them 0 - 6 Us

The Spurs players are down sick with lasagne they have to play their caterers.  And pizza delivery boys.

So we can finish 12th or 17th, is that about a £6m swing in prize money? I don't think Lambert will  be throwing caution to the wind if so.  Them to win 2-0 with a team who don't even want to play for their manager judging by Sherwood's press conference yesterday.
