Yet another thrashing for Aston Villa under Lambert and Lerner. The sooner the pair of them are gone from our club the better.

You coming off the fence?

Lambert is the worst manager in all my time of supporting this club. Clueless.

This is a shadow of a football club. Thanks Randy. Thanks Paul.

I'm honest. We're absolute trash.

Tbh, we always seem to lose to clubs in Manchester and Man Citeh have an average of over three a game at home so this was pretty much expected. Other games yes, but it's a waste really to use this one to have a go at anything.

They had a lot to play for. We had nothing to play for. Once the first went in the rest was inevitable. No point getting too upset in my opinion

4-0, are there any words left to describe how pathetic we are?

Well they also put 6 past Arsenal and Spurs and 4 past ManU. I thought we were excellent for an hour but after first goal that was always going to happen.

Correct. There was no pressure on us at all. Yet we set up to lose by as little a possible. If that doesn't upset you, fine. I reserve the right to be furious and ashamed.

At least there has been no late season flurry once we were safe like Houlliers season to paper over the cracks.  This is the worst Villa team I've seen since 1987 and I am amazed we have stayed up.  We've stunk the division out for so long, without major changes I wouldn't be surprised to see us rock bottom next May.

The unpalatable truth this shows up is that there is so much wrong with us is one short summer enough to put things right enough that the bottom does not fall out of our boat next season.   The task ahead of us is a bigger one than that facing  a side promoted into the Premiership.   They at least have momentum and enthusiasm.   We have nothing.
