predictable line up from a manager who knows his time is up. There was no need to pick the same line up, or such a boring line up again, but he has. You know how we'll play which is the most disappointing aspect of all of this.

I can see this being one of those depressingly aimless performances where the only person in the stadium who can't see it should be changed is the man with 'PL' on his tracksuit.

I was just out mowing the lawn in the sun, and found myself with a good feeling about today.

Then I saw that line up, and it has all gone. We're clearly aiming for a point. That rarely works for us.

Long will be on Baker like a fucking rash. Huddlestone will run the game. If it is 4 4 2 then why not Tonev out wide. But then why not Tonev in for Weimann anyway as a change ???

If Real Madrid only watched the footage of Long vs Baker from the game at the Hawthorns he'd be lined up next to Benzema awaiting Atletico in the CL final.

What's the bloody point in playing for a draw when we've got no defence? Surely Lambert would have to admit to that?

Particularly as he's said over and over again that we need one win. If he's going for the draw today, where does he think that win's going to come from? The Etihad?

I've been confident all week we'd get at least a draw but the closer it gets to kick-off the more I'm bricking it.

This can't be 5 at the back can it? Baker as wing back? This is 442, with baker at left back for 'extra height' surely?
