Every year people say it's the wrong sort of claret. We had a couple of kits that were a bit purpley for my liking at the turn of the Millennium but the colours have been decent enough since.

You'd better point this out to martin as it doesn't match the website version.

Cheaper looking than last years, the neck is awful. Each to their own I guess, any news on the away kit?

Its .....ok. Bit too similar to West Ham's two seasons ago. Its ok. Nothing more. Prefered the last two seasons to be honest but certainly not a real kick in the teeth to traditionalism provided you don't mind the pinstripes which I don't.

The last few efforts have all been a bit 'West Ham,'  that is, overdone, messy and just a bit naff.

Whilst ironically, they've started to go with the more simple straightforward designs in recent years.

It's ok, still a little too fussy - too many design features for my liking, but it will do.

For comparison here's some of the other new kits out already

And the world cup kits - some truly terrible ones

Another awful cheap and tacky Macron effort.

To me this is claret...

We're all looking at that on different, differently calibrated monitors, though, which renders it meaningless until we actually see it in the flesh.

At least when the colour differences we are talking about are so small (ie, if you'd posted a yellow square and said "this is claret", you'd be visibly wrong), it does anyway

That's "play". PS: don't try and type in a car. On dirt roads. In Botswana. Just saying.
