I really like it.  Though I've reached the age (30) where football shirts are no longer appropriate.  Happy with just my Fred Perry, Claret and Blue Number and White Fred Perry with Claret and Blue trimmings!

Not a fan to be honest. Obviously we need a sponsor but the Dafuqbet is garish still. I'm not keen on the design either.

Luckily for me, I am a midget and can comfortably get away with wearing kids' sizes. It's about the only advantage. But hey, every cloud and all that.

I quite like it, at least we'll look nice when the likes of Leicester and Burnley are trouncing us next season  ;)

I still haven't worn out my "Rover" top but I might be up for some new Villa mugs.

Friend of mine just ordered the new Liverpool shirt and shorts for her 8 yr old grandson from their site (yes I know) £79.50.

how cool would it be if, instead of us justifying our stupid stupid prices by citing other teams' stupid prices, we just sold full kids kits for £20. We'd still probably make £15 profit. Is it all about squeezing the last drop out of fans?

A guy on the radio last week said Manure could have let every person into the ground for free for the entire duration of the Glazers ownership, with what it's cost to service the debt they bought the club with.

Does that answer your question?

I really don't like stripes... however, it is only tiny pin-stripes. We're still basically the traditional claret shirt, blue sleeves so I'm willing to let that go. Plus they have the correctly coloured shorts and socks.

Seems nice enough to me.

Still hope for something radical with the away kit. Anything with dinosaurs on it.

I'm not taken by it on first look I must admit. Something just doesn't seem right, might be the all blue arms.

With every kit sold they should give away a vial of sweatshop worker's tears.

What I mean is, it kind of looks like a claret tank top over a blue long sleeved tee. Which probably makes no sense to anyone else and it's just me.

Now available for pre-order here:

http://shop.avfc.co.uk/shop/aston-villa-home-shirt-2014-15-long-sleeve/index.html

Long sleeve football shirts are just wrong

It's available in both long and short. I think that is why it doesn't look right to me, the short sleeve looks better, well the back of it does.

I like it.

I like the collar. I like the fact it stays just the right side of over-fussy, which is what I didn't like about last season's home kit.
