Scoring at Wembley for Aston Villa to beat Manchester United in the Cup Final. Doesn't get much better than that. Happy birthday Peter!

Happy Birthday! Still hopeful we can win it again in your lifetime just so long as we can avoid getting difficult draws like Man U, Arsenal and, errr... Millwall and Sheffield United.

Been said on here many times before that he had pace, power and a very good heading ability, all this from a winger, (wide player for you young un's).
Peter Mac and Gerry Hitchens, what a combo. Happy Birthday Peter, hero isn't half enough praise and thank you for the memories.

Happy birthday Mr McParland - a proper legend in an age where the word is overused.

Saw you do it you old warhorse you. I can still see those knees pumping and those elbows pounding as you put the fear of God up some lesser mortals. Happy Birthday Peter and many of them

Happy Birthday Peter! May you soon not be the last Villa player to score us the winning goal in an FA Cup Final, and may you be there to see the next one.
