It wouldn't surprise me if the 10% cash back deal deadline is extended for another week or so. I know you'll have fans who will renew whatever division we're in but to ask people to stump up cash in full when they have no idea if we'll be playing Chelsea or Bournemouth somehow seems wrong.

Maybe I sound a bit Meldrew but I am sick to death of all these nuisance scammer companies trying to contact me and rip me off. I mean, does anybody ever respond to these charlatans ? I suppose some must fall for it or they wouldn't keep doing it.
Its about time the phone companies and the government did something to stop them making peoples lives a misery. But I suppose if the numbers they are using are closed off they just set up other numbers as they have the attitude of WE GO AGAIN !

Never respond to these type of texts by doing that, the way the system operates has now been alerted that yours is a "Live" number and you may get bombarded with loads from all sorts of businesses, just delete them mate - it`s safer.

Been thinking about this today and come to the conclusion I'd be more inclined to renew in the Championship under a new owner than if we stay up under Lerner and are promised more of the same.

In a weird way I've started thinking like that. I'm not sure I can face another season getting stuffed at home every fortnight but a season where we actually win a few games against different teams might actually make me more inclined to renew.

Also some of those young players will really be able to shine in the Championship which will boost their confidence and make them better should upon our return to the top flight (not that I am assuming that of course!).

If you think some of those young players will shine in the championship then you have more faith than me. This squad, minus the few good players who'd most definable be sold, would be mid table at best in the Championship.

I don't know about mid table, but I do know that when Newcastle went down, they got shot of the real expensive dross they had but kept all the players they wanted to keep a hold of, and came straight back up.

We, on the other hand, would lose most of our decent players (in that it is possible to use the word "most" in any meaningful way when you are talking about a total sample of 4) and be lumbered with exactly the same dross which has not been up to it in this league and doesn't look capable of fighting its way out of a paper bag, let alone a horrible division like that.

The likes of Clark,Westwood, and Lowton (should he get back in the team) would all be good championship players IMO.
