I don't know why it's imperative that Xia has to take the moral high ground because he owns a club. If he's passed the fit and proper persons test, which he has, he can say whatever he likes, however misguided it seems.

I completely disagree.

He can do whatever he likes, he could tap dance on top of the Holte in his underpants, waistcoat and shoes.

He could do that... Like his tweets, probably not the best idea though.

Steve Green from the Aston Villa review podcast on Talksport talking about the Xia's response on twitter.

Said basically what we have all said on here.

So Wolves, with all the money in the planet if you believe what the dogheads have been claiming, so popular are they based on this new investment managed to lure the magnificent Walter Zenga as manager. A bloke who jumps from club to club every season or two.

That £20million bloke still hasn't signed for them.

I will probably get slated for saying this but I have no confidence in the Doc, I don't think he or his companies have the money to compete in this league or the premier league..
I think the appointment of RDM is a mistake and he will be sacked by the end of the season..
I hope I'm wrong and what I have said is shoved back in my face, but I have a horrible feeling abut this...

Sorry for the negative vibes it's just the way I'm seeing it at the moment...

I have never met a Wolves fan.

I'm surrounded by them in my office. But that is my fault for working in Wolverhampton.

Part of the takeover deal by the new owners included Jorge Mendes, the agent of Ronaldo, Mourinho etc, joining the company. It was him that advised the Chinese to buy Wolves. As probably the most connected man in football, he's working with them to bring in the players and up until now he's doing a bloody good job. They may be only loans but I wish they were coming to us for a season rather than the Dogheads.

Jealous? Too bloody right I am.

I have major doubts about the pair of them, but a bit early for that.

The good doctor came in talking about spending maybe £30-40 million to get back up.  That figure always looked excessive, but not too many would have complained if we had been bullish about promotion (not just talking about it) and lured PL-quality players. We still might, but if by the end of the window, the only business we have done has been funded by outgoings, he is going to look a tad foolish. As he will if he has insisted x or y player will stay and they bugger off anyway. The social media brain farts don't help either.

Thanks for your reply mate, I hear what you are saying and your talking common sense but I still feel the club is in the wrong hands both on and off the pitch...
Maybe I am wrong, I hope I am but that nagging feeling I get when I think about our new owner especially...

Teixera has two 1st team league starts in his career. Silvio is always out on loan and rarely plays, Costa hasn't played much football in his career either. They may turn out to be decent but you're really jealous they've signed a few players on loan that most of us have never heard of unless you follow Benfica reserves?
