The thing is, it is funny. But I want our club to be disciplined.

I want our senior people to be ruthless in the pursuit of success. Single minded and insist others are when it comes to putting us back on the right footing. I want them to set an example to the manager, coaches and players about what it means to be part of Aston Villa and what sort of bloody minded focus and military discipline is needed to do this.

For me these stupid (if fairly funny) tweets set completely the wrong tone for what we are trying to achieve. I want a hard nosed owner, not a rent a gob.

Really he shouldn't have time for dicking about on Twitter if he was applying himself properly in laying the much needed foundations to be built on in the coming years.

Personally I'm all for this.  The media have used us as a punchbag for years so it's not like this is going to create more bad press than we've had anyway. What he does need to do from here is make sure we're given the best chance of challenging right up at the top of the league by making the funds available and encouraging RDM to do whatever he needs to for us to look like a team.

He can take the piss out morons like Holloway as much as he likes so long as he doesn't give them easy shots back by seeing us languish in mid-table of a league that we have to be looking to win.

Do you really believe that it is ok for our owner to be abusive towards a pundit simply for expressing an opinion? I think it's appalling and I agree with others who have said he needs to get off there before he really does some damage.

I think it reflects badly on the club and I don't think the most senior representative at the club should be recording his own random ill considered thoughts in that way so we'll have to agree to disagree.
