All very odd but is it normal business practice?

Not in my experience, no.

They've been appointed, resigned then appointed again in the space of a few days.  That is what I call odd. By they I mean Samuelson, Wyness, Banfill.

And Banfill hasn't been re-appointed like the other two.  Plus Wyness is listed as a director on the OS, and Samuelson isn't.  It's all quite strange.

Maybe it's just moving people around the different limited companies involved?

According to this: http://www.duport.co.uk/credit-reports/reports.php?id=10176070

Samuelson was appointed a Director on the 20th. But there does seem to be some extraneous coming and going.

No club statement yet about this.  Xia probably sticking his head in the sand and hoping we don't notice.  Time you started telling us the truth about this "ownership" doctor.

Time you stopped whining.

Crikey

I am suspicious of Dr Xia myself - not enough transparency for my liking - but am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. You seem to have flicked straight into outright hostility mode already.

Me too, something doesn't quite sit right, but I'm sitting tight for now.

I've been pretty much the same from the start as well
I have never had a good feeling about the takeover, but its pointless banging on about it in post after post, what will be will be now

I would guess Samuelson and Banfill's roles were to support the take over and initial set up. I would also guess that them becoming temporary directors was the easiest way to do this. Now this has happened they are making way for the directors who will lead Villa in the next phase.

Their 'skills' are linked to set up and finance as far as I can tell and not day to day running of a football club.

We'll find out about the financial commitment pretty soon in any case. Plus the sort of leadership he can offer - something we've been incredible fucked by the lack off these last few years.

Samuelson is still a director.

Only saying what a growing number of people are saying.  Operating a sell to buy policy after boasting of huge transfer funds and having pretty much the same squad that failed abjectly last season.

We are in big trouble.

But not listed? https://www.avfc.co.uk/club/whos-who

I've only looked at this today. So not sure if he was listed previously.

Perhaps you can tell us where this growing number are saying it, because it certainly isn't on here or anywhere else I've been looking.
