I know its all just talk at the moment but I like the line that 'once he's made his mind up he gets things done', the flip-flopping from one thing to another under Lerner didn't help matters at all.

Sounds very promising.

He has talked the talk, now he has to walk the walk, and that might be a tad more difficult.

However, £600m in cash is some liquidity.

Yep I thought so too. A good read.

I'm hoping for a busy few weeks at VP - The obvious players to be sold and a real structure put in place at BMH.

Yep, think we'll see a fair few managerial changes under his regin.

Lambert for example under him would've lasted three weeks rather than three years I think.

A good start, let's get the transfers going now.

I like this paragraph the best......

'For now I’m not focusing on anything else. I don’t think we’ll end up like Leeds or like other teams who’ve come down from the Premier League and struggled for years and years. Why? Because I know exactly what the financial situation is here and I’m ready to invest. And I have confidence in my management team that they know what they’re doing and I’m going to let them do it.

He sounds like a no nonsense doer. Boys and Girls, I think our rise again is about to begin. The dark days or being Lerners tossed aside rusty old toy are over, this guy sounds on the ball and wants to see things done. Villa will be back sooner than a lot expected and with some fire in the clubs belly and a point to prove. Those who have taken the piss are going to get what's coming to them.

That's a good read and I'm starting to feel much more optimistic. The line I liked best was "‘Roberto has already made a phone call to every single player,’ he says. ‘Every player that he wants to keep is happy to stay. The decisions on who goes are up to Roberto.’  Sounds hopeful that our better players will stay and will be added to, and the wastrels will be shown the door. Didn't know Di Matteo had an MBA either.

Can a £24m overdraft really be doled out by a 'local branch' of HSBC?! If so, I need to chat to mine about the measly £700 that they're allowing me to be in hock to them for.

RDM has an MBA?

A GCSE is art is usually enough for a footballer to gain the nick name 'prof'

Xia wise to keep quite when asked about how much money we'd have to spend.
Feeling a lot more positive now I've heard him and Di Matteo speak at the press conference.

The highlighted line in particular was a mental jaw dropper for me. If that's true (among all the other no nonsense stuff he was saying) then I am happy.

Looks like we're getting no Shunammites that's for sure.
