All sounds too positive.

Dont worry, something will go wrong. This will all turn out to be a dream and the Villa balance will be restored

The parachute money stays in the club.  The purchase price is £76m which is the assets of the club plus the payoff of the small matter of a £24m overdraft. I genuinely wonder how far we were from Administration had Randy stayed but not continued to fund it.

Lerner, let's face it is a rubbish businessman. Idiot should've sold 12 months ago at the price he's got now. We may well be still in the Premier League if he'd acted earlier. He's totally inept at running a business. Steve Hollis has saved the day.

It sounds exactly what we all want to hear. Roll on Monday.

Yes, we should start getting press conferences / interviews etc with Di Matteo et al this week hopefully!

I was hoping it got waves through on the 15th, as originally slated.

I get paid weds and was going to celebrate with champers.

If it gets announced on Monday, it will have to be a stubby of XXXX!

The consequences of Lerner haven't, though. We haven't even started to feel those yet.
