Even though this felt at times like it was taking forever it hasn't really been that long since Xia was confirmed as the buyer. We won't know if he is a good chairman for a while but like Randy if he can make early investments then he will at least give Di Matteo every chance of getting us back up. What will be critical even beyond the promise of funds is who he appoints to the board, the structure of the club to only find good players but to properly bring through young players. We simply haven't made full use of our academy. I'm happy with team the manager is assembling and overall next week there will be a lot more optimism than we have enjoyed for a long time.
