It's been pretty clear from the start that Zia has access to funds and that the  criteria of the Owners and Directors test would not bar either himself or the other directors - with the possible exception of Hitchens, who resigned anyway.

The real good news will come when the promised 50 million is spent this window, and the accounts when published next year show a healthy balance sheet.

We really don't need to spend 50 million in this window, there will be a limit to who you can buy anyway as we are in the championship
