Incog AVFC on twitter has posted a message that we ought to 'brace yourselves'
Follow up was "PR overload on the horizon". Regardless, how reliable is that account anyway?

Out of all the supposed ITKs i find it one of the more reliable

Is he???

This is the account that changed to a new one because his old one had his track record of always being wrong isn it? (such as us being sold in 2014).

As far as I am aware the only genuine ITK in the past few years was hairy hands on VillaTalk who ended up being , perhaps, one of the coaching staff who was let go.

There's a lot adding going on and a lot of people coming up with different answers. All based on limited information or erroneous information. The truth none of us know precisely what the role of any of these guys is in this transaction and just because someone wasn't entirely successful before in a certain capacity doesn't mean they are useless in another. A bit like dismissing Steve Clarke entirely because as a manager it hasn't worked out. He might just be a very good coach. Let's see how this plays out and hopefully Dr Xia is utilizing them for what they are good at.

Recon now registered in the UK as a Ltd Co.

That reading bloke is a director so likely to have some involvement at least in the initially stages.

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/10176070/officers

I find this worrying.

Alan John Frank Hitchins, the guy who was the original director, appears to be a veterinary surgeon? Who is he, I wonder?

He's a veterinary surgeon.

There are a lot of these chancers in and around the game.
Football had all the ingredients to attract the get rich quick merchants, lots of money passing through the hands of and run by people that are either naive, egotistical, greedy or dodgy.
Of course there are some very decent people as well but they are outnumbered by scumbags.

All you need to know here.

Right now I'm thinking one of two things:

1. Xia is being taken for a ride by the likes of Samuelson, Hitchens and possibly Wyness.

2. This looks likely to be the biggest scam in English football.

I was beginning to think along the same lines. There is also a third option where it could be that it's not even Xia's money. He is merely the front for Samuelson/Hitchens moving money (that they have access to) about.

Maybe Hitchens resigning from the board is linked to the rumours that not all directors would pass the Owners and Directors test. He is a director of a company that has unresolved court judgements against it.

I don't like the look of this at all.

But surely this isn't something Hollis would have failed to spot? Should Xia just have been a mouthpiece for people that would have been unable to pass the Owners and Directors test then it would have needed subterfuge that would embarrass FIFA. Just can't see the amount of fraud needed to have just slipped by Hollis's eyes. On top of that Xia seems to be a businessman in his own right. Why would he agree to be in a position of just being a mouthpiece. Knowing nothing of Chinese culture but going from those that know on here, it seems highly unlikely that a Chinese businessman would allow himself to be a stooge for two English/British people. of all the things worrying me, Xia position within this enigma isn't it.

To quote an under appreciated ditty - there's a dead skunk in the middle of the road and it's stinking to high heaven.

It's very standard for people to be involved with companies when they're first registered in the UK. I do quite a lot of work looking into legitimate companies in my job, and it's very common for people to be involved facilitating the set up of a company and then to leave within a couple of weeks.

The takeover should be finalised by next week now, I'm really intrigued to see who is put in what position. I can't lie though Samuelson doesn't fill me with confidence. There's something strange about the whole deal, it could be something innocent but it's definitely not your normal set up.

Sorry, I'm confused. Are we now back at the point where we are saying that Dr. X has again turned into the equivalent of a Bond film baddie?
