Brilliant thread, sorry someone had to be upset. I accept his explanation, for what it's worth, and I'm rabidly PC.

I did spot it though. Only last night my black wife (not imaginary, Stewart Lee fans) was moaning about why so many black people were in the KFC advert on telly. I agreed with her to a point, tempered with the fact that I like to see lots of blacks people on telly being all visible and representative and stuff.

That's the kind of shit we talk about whilst rolling spliffs, frying chicken and shouting 'Fuck Da Police'.

Well it just plain isn't, so make of it what you will. Where I live in Streatham all sorts of miscreants eat fried chicken of all colours.

I also had no idea this had racial connotations.  I guess it explains why Col. Sanders is always shown wearing a pristine white outfit. I guess they couldn't fit his hood on the logo.
